No claims allowed unless advised within 3 days of receipt of goods and covered by prior at authorization from this office. It is understood and agreed that merchandise on this order is the property of Direct Home Furniture unless fully paid for. We reserve the right to delay availability of merchandise from our suppliers for any unforeseen causes. Direct Home Furniture is not responsible for any orders made through catalogs. All balances are to be paid in full 3 days prior to delivery. We do not accept checks. No warranties, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges on special orders, clearance, floor samples, or final sales. Delivery and set up charges are extra. Delivery will be to the main entrance, beyond which Direct Home Furniture will not be responsible for any damages to goods or property especially in circumstances where merchandise is forced or used other methods to gain access into the premises. It is the responsibility of the customer to make measurement of their doors, hallways, and rooms in which Direct Home Furniture will not be responsible for merchandise that cannot fit. Direct Home Furniture is not responsible for any goods that are picked up, shipped by an outside carrier, or delivered and not set up. Any scheduled delivery that is not accepted on day of delivery will be charged and additional delivery fee. For financing customers, no refunds or cancellations 24 hours after invoice date. We will preauthorize full payment 24 hours from date of invoice, but post the payment on the day of delivery, including any back ordered goods. Delivery of merchandise is to be accepted within 30 days after merchandise is available in our warehouse, after which 50% of the invoice total will be charged plus a 25% restocking charge without prior notification. A consumer report may be requested with the processing of your credit and customer authorizes Direct Home Furniture to submit all necessary personal information to possibly approve credit. Any damaged merchandise claimed within a 72 hour period after delivery will be repaired in a timely manner to the best of our ability. Warranties may be covered by the manufacturers and not by Direct Home Furniture. Mattress warranties are covered by the manufacturers on a pro rated basis and comfort is not a warranty. Promotional mattresses under $400 have no warranty. Mattress warranty is void if it has stains. Mattress sales are final. Proof of purchase and date delivered needs to be provided. Replacement parts are charged additional. All layaways are for a maximum of 6 months unless specified in writing by this office and will require at least four weeks to deliver after full payment. Merchandise discontinued on layaways may be exchanged for merchandise of equal or greater value. Closing down sales are as is and final sales with no refunds, exchanges, warranties. No warranties on picked up orders. No verbal agreement made with any representative of Direct Home Furniture or any person related to the operation of the company will be binding upon Direct Home Furniture unless specified in writing including accuracy of your order. Direct Home Furniture will not be responsible for any invoices older than 6 months and/or deposits will be forfeited and will be applied to operating expenses. Delivery date and times may be cancelled due to weather or logistical issues. Any furniture that does not fit can be dismantled by an independent technician and then reassembled in the home for a fee determined by the technician and to be paid first at the store before any work is done.
